EPL Debate: Is Wayne Rooney will be next victim of Alex Ferguson?

What is going on?! After Jaap Stam, Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham, now it is turn for Man Utd prolific player to leave Man Utd after clash with Ferguson?

The rumours in England that Rooney will leave Man Utd this January is rising high. The local newspaper mostly headlined the story that England top striker will leave Man U after arguement with Ferguson regarding his injury. Latest match last Saturday, Rooney start the game versus WBA at the bench where sees Man Utd drew 2-2 after taken a 2-0 lead at half time.

Ferguson who famous with his strict managerial attitude and dislike his players to question or argueing with his decision, is furious with Rooney after the England striker claimed that he was injured and not able to fixture for 2 weeks that saw Rooney missed Valencia and Sunderland game recently. However, last Wed, Rooney played 90 mins for England in disappointing 0-0 draw with minnow Montenegro in EURO 2012 qualifying match.

Yesterday, from the Man Utd internal source smashed back the rumours and claimed that the story is not true. They also claim Rooney will stay with Man U until he contract expired in 2012.

If the rumours that Rooney will leave Man U is genuine, that will be a good news for the billionaire club such as derby rival Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, AC Milan or Barcelona to race for his signature. Is the fanatic Man U fans can afford to lose Rooney this time as they still find the best replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo? Juz wait and see...

  2. Kami dari kem Man Utd mengucapkan selamat maju jaya kepada wayne 'the shrek' rooney kalau dia nak blah. Kami pernah hilang team yang lebih hebat masa tragedi Busby Babes. Memang down kejap tapi kami tetap naik lepas tu. 1 person won't make a different. Thats why football consist of 11 people.

  3. Mr Poppycock aka Hanis,

Yup.. All the best to Rooney. Eventhought, I'm not ManU fans but I would think losing Rooney at this time of situation is to make it worst than already it is. Man City is performing well and if Man U existing strikers fail to deliver what best for the team means no one can stop Man City beside Chelsea. The question is can Man U fans afford to see Man City as one an only team to conquer BPL juz bcoz others team fail to challenge them? Is Man U total domination is going to be end?

  4. Losing Rooney at this time is terrible. He is 1 of most feared striker at the moment. But look at the bright side. Rooney isn't performing. He just scored once this year. Even Chicarito who always play as a sub score twice.

About Man City, i truly agree that they are the better team than Man Utd at the moment. The wealth they have is totally their biggest advantage. But we'll see at the end of the season. Can they keep the consistency? Who knows.

Rooney is not indispensable. We lost Beckham before. The fans curse Fergie for the raft between those 2. We then had Ronaldo as his replacement. Even better than Beckham and the best player in the planet when he was with Man Utd.

People come and go. That's football. Jangan jadi macam Liverpool. Sandarkan pada kenangan. Asyik cerita their famous glory days but sucking in their present day.

So sad to lose a great striker like Rooney in the middle of the drought goal for ManU. All the best to ManU. So sad too as i believe this season is not belong to ManU.

    Mrs Fiance,

Tevez is a great striker. Any team in the world would be pleased to have him in the squad although in juz in FF.
