Olympic 2012 Qualifiers: Tough test in Lahore after Malaysia only put 2 goals over Pakistan 10-men

Wasted chances. That's all I can say after saw Malaysia failed to get comfortable win over Pakistan 10 men in Shah Alam.

Malaysia make a very promising start when they scored the 1st goal thru' Wan Zaharulnizam in 3rd minute. After that, the Malaysian continued to create more chances thru' combination of Fandi Othman and Ahmad Fakhri but the goal yet to arrive until at the edge of half time, Irfan Fazail find the space to score to put Malaysia 2-0 up after Pakistan player, Ansar Abbas has been shown a straight red after professional foul on Malaysia skipper Khairul Fahmi.

In the 2nd half, Malaysian dominated the possession of ball. They created many chances after chances to test the substitute Pakistan goalkeeper, Umer but he equal to it. Fakhri saw his shot hit the post in 77th minute and Gurusamy closed range header in 85th minute wide although he only need to tap into back of the net.

Overall performance, Malaysia did well but need to grab every single opportunity in Lahore to advance. Good luck to them in Lahore.
