Totti: End of an era?

After a dissappointing lost to Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, everyone is focus on the future of AS Roma talisman, Francesco Totti. The Capitano who came from the bench after replacing Stephan El Shaarawy, been applaused by thousand of the home crowd including Marcelo and Kasemiro, the sign of respect on what he has done to the European football in almost 24 years playing.

Warm relationship with the coach

Before the match, Totti who was not in good relationship with his coach, Luciano Spalletti, said once that he might retire at the end of the season due to lack of playing time under Spalletti.

Totti who was regularly used by former coach, Rudy Garcia before suffered a calf injury that forced him to rest for almost 4 months, has been left out by Spalletti eventhought Totti was declared he is fit to play.

Final night in UCL?

Totti who still under the contract with Giallorossi until June 2017, really wanted to finish his career on high and the exit from UCL last Tuesday might be his last night, if Roma fail to finish top 3 in Serie A this season.

It would be a sad news for the Roma fans who hoping Totti will play for another season in UCL and able to lift the Scudetto again, after wins it in 2001 before his retirement.
